The value of a diamond, the clearer, purer and shinier it is, the more valuable it is.
To assess the true value of a diamond, you can look at the following seven items.

CARAT

The weight of the diamond, the bigger the diamond, the more expensive, usually 20~50 points (0.20~0.50 carats) diamonds are the mainstream engagement ring specifications, because the weight is visible to the naked eye, and it is not unattainable, of course, you can also buy it with a budget Over 1 carat! Those who have compared the difference between diamonds and crystals know that as long as a diamond is small, it is very shiny, and this is the value of a real diamond.

CLARITY

In the process of natural formation, diamonds are more or less with impurities. The clarity test of a diamond is conducted by a professional appraiser with a 10x magnifying glass to determine the clarity grade of a diamond according to the size, quantity, location, type, color or obviousness of the inclusions. Usually above the VS2 grade, the impurities are almost invisible to the naked eye. If you want to control the budget of the ring, it is recommended to choose the color first, and then consider the clarity. Within the budget, of course, the higher the grade, the better.

COLOR

In terms of color, diamonds are generally divided into two categories, colorless diamonds and colored diamonds; colorless diamonds are our common diamonds, generally proposed, and colorless diamonds are the most commonly used in marriage.
Aside from carat, the color of a diamond is almost the most important indicator when buying a diamond, as it is one of the most easily recognizable features of value with the naked eye. Other indicators of diamonds, such as clarity, turning, etc., require a magnifying glass to check the quality, but not the color, the difference can be detected by the naked eye. Completely colorless diamonds are rare, mostly brown and light yellow, and their color grades start from Diamond's "D" to "Z", which represent subtle color grade distinctions.
D color: The highest grade of diamond color, pure and colorless, it is perfect, it is the most rare existence, and it is very rare.
E color: high-quality colorless grade, ordinary people cannot see the color, only a small number of jewelry appraisal experts can identify.
F color: A high-quality colorless grade slightly lower than E, the color of which is difficult to detect unless a jewelry appraiser is expert.
G、H color: Although it is close to colorless, it has a slightly lighter yellow inside compared to colorless diamonds.
I、J color: Still nearly colorless, but with a slight yellow inside.
K、L、M color: Most people will clearly see the color, and the color itself is slightly dull, the level is low, and the fire and gloss are slightly worse.
N、R、S、Z color: The color is darker, showing a clear yellow color, and it is not suitable for processing diamond rings under normal circumstances.
Basically, any grade above G (i.e. D, E, F, G) can be considered a white diamond.
If you want to collect, you can consider D and E color.
If it is daily wear, you can choose F, G, H, I, J color.

FANCY COLOR

Colored diamonds are what we often call colored diamonds. The colorful colors of colored diamonds are very pleasing and highly collectible. The colors are yellow, orange, blue, green, red, pink, black and chameleon, etc. The delicate color changes Rich, so the nine levels of chroma are generally used as the basis for grading. The brighter the color, the rarer the price.

Yellow or brown diamonds can only be called fancy-colored diamonds when they are above Fancy. Because of the scarcity of other colored diamonds, they are called "colored diamonds" as long as they have a color of Faint or above.

CUT

Diamonds are not crystal clear and sparkling when they are first mined. Diamonds must be artificially cut into special shapes to optimize the reflection of light entering the diamond. However, the shape of the rough mined from each diamond is different. The diamond cutting factory will make the most efficient cutting according to the economic benefits. Therefore, not every diamond has the same shape, and slight differences will affect the light reflection of the diamond. . Therefore, we divide the cut (cut) of diamonds into the following grades from high to low:
Excellent, Very Good, Good, Fair  and Poor.

ROUND DIAMOND CUT

Four forms of round diamond turning:

●Standard Cut:

Scale and trim are presented within the standard range.

● H&A:

Stricter symmetry and precise arrangement, through professional instruments, present eight heart-shaped and eight arrow-shaped patterns, the symbol of special meaning is more attractive. (A round diamond with eight hearts and eight arrows does not necessarily mean a perfect cut)

● Ideal Cut:

In addition to the precise proportions, more emphasis is placed on the perfect angle calculated by mathematical formulas, presenting the dazzling light reflected by the optical angle, which is better than ordinary.

【Perfect Cut Ratio】
